Stealth missions are simple matters of staying at least six feet away from personnel, and most gadgets are of the point-and-shoot nature anyway.essentially just a different version of a gun. We're not going to go as far as saying that NightFire is the GBA equivalent of Metal Gear Solid, because it's not. While certainly emphasizing the shooting aspect of the FPS genre, the game also focuses a bit more on stealth and gadgetry use than other games in the genre. Again the controls can be unforgiving in many instances and because missions are long failure is quite the punishment.NightFire is another challenging first-person shooter for the Game Boy Advance, putting players in the role of James Bond in more than nine levels and several sub-levels of action. Thanks to a rating and stat system there's value in replaying if you have any interest. It's an ambitious title both in terms of graphics and gameplay, you'll see some pretty crazy things before it's all over (like full 3d environs, aquatic laser fights and a space station finale). Grappling with the controls in some situations can be frustrating especially considering the plethora of tools at your disposal and the means you are given to navigate them in a pinch but if you can get past that there is a real campaign worth playing. Awesome boss battles are also a great edition to the game. You'll find yourself playing the same mission quite a bit in order to get past. The 9 levels the game features are enormous and quite a challenge to get through. We get our usual assortment of pistols and machine guns (the bullet shells release from the guns side when you fire!) and our gadgets include a cell-phone grapple (used for reaching high places), a laser watch, a PDA (used to hack), a tranquilizer dart pen, and a little CD hidden in a credit card to monitor computer sysems. Nightfire also delivers by giving us a nice variety of weapons and Q-Lab gadgets. The graphics may look a little grainy but it is one of the most advanced developed for the GBA and pretty impressive. We get an in-depth story with neat cut-scenes, wall-to-wall action, and an amazing graphic system. 007: Nightfire definitely delivers from start to finish.
